Starving Artist Law

I was at a book club meeting and everyone was weighing in, pun intended, on all of the weight loss books that had recently come out.  It seemed that all of the books had similar beginnings that dieters should always consult a doctor before beginning what they called a “new life plan” They would then go on to say that the reader should take a good hard look at themselves and pick out which areas they would most like to change. The whole book club stood up, en masse, and everyone focused on their thighs.  Except for me, I looked at my elbows.  I didn’t know it was even possible to get cellulite on their arms.  My horror filled exclamation caught everyone’s attention and we then started a non-book related discussion about the best cellulite cream reviews. There’s nothing that says I can’t use it on my arms.  I might as well give it a try.
